While Discord is where much of our community gathers, AFK Cafe is more than a Discord server.
We are a community and a modern third space. A place where people can build friendships, explore interests, learn from one another, share experiences, contribute to projects, and find a sense of belonging.
Whether you're here to make friends, learn a new skill, share your hobbies, participate in events, contribute to community projects, or simply have a place to pull up a chair and relax, you're welcome here.

Some members are here to make friends.

There is no right way to participate.

Unlike some of the larger rooms throughout the cafe, the Cafe Floor is made up of gathering tables where conversations happen naturally throughout the day.Some companions stop by to share updates. Others pull up a chair to chat, laugh, share memes, show off something they're excited about, or simply enjoy the company of others.
There is no expectation to participate in every conversation.Feel free to wander between tables, settle into your favorite spot, or simply listen in until you're ready to join.
